Workshop to target women, minority business owners

The Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women will host “More Business with Corporate America,” a matchmaking workshop geared toward connecting Oklahoma women and minority business owners with large corporations and the government.

The event is from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 29 at Moore-Norman Technology Center, 13301 S Pennsylvania Ave. Contact Lin Weigel at 943-4474 or [email protected].

Matchmaking with representatives from AT&T, Office Depot, the Small Business Administration, and the government will be available for the following industries: marketing, advertising, emerging technologies, software development, financial services, travel services, fleet repair and maintenance, janitorial, maintenance, transportation and more.
