Space is secured & furnished to care for children 18-36 months and after school care for children 3-6 years. Update: After completed Peace through Business 2008 and returning to Rwanda, we received the following from Marguerite:
“Finally some news to write to home about. I am sure you have been wondering what happened since I left Oklahoma . I decided to embark on my very ambitious programme to open the Child care centre while the Oklahoma fire was still ablaze, and I am glad to tell you that we opened on the 22nd of September.
I started with only 3 children and today I have 12. Here the year begins in January and that is when I expect the biggest number but I wanted to start small and test the grounds before the big opening. So far I am happy with the way things are going and I really love what I am doing.
I am working on getting myself connected to the Internet by end of month. Five of the Peace through Business Alumni recently attended a conference organized by the Rwanda Private sector Federation where we were given an opportunity to talk about our trip to Oklahoma and Elise gave a very good presentation on our behalf.
We have not been able to do any training yet, but we are working on it and hope get organized and make you proud for all your efforts.
May the Lord Bless You
