Eron Asiimwe Nsenga owns and operates a hardware store, Kabs Hardware Shop Ltd. Ms. Nsenga’s business plan includes expansion to include wholesale and increase the number of locations in the outskirts of Kigali City. Her plan for 5 years and beyond is to become involved in import substitution and minor manufacturing.

While in Oklahoma City, Ms. Nsenga was mentored by Kathleen Frisbie, President & CEO of Shield Manufacturing. Eron was searching for ways to identify American hardware store innovations in order to replicate their processes in Rwanda.
Ms. Asiimwe was invaluable to IEEW’s Lin Weigel during the recent IEEW trip to Rwanda. She helped with introductions and appointments.
