After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in business Administration/Marketing, Emertha opened her own tailoring and embroidering company,“Children’s Voice in Rwanda” She employs 2 permanent and 3 part time employees plus 4 volunteers. She is also very involved in the community and is President elect of the National Womens’ Council. More importantly, Emertha is very involved in helping young women & girls get off the streets by teaching them a trade. She teaches sewing and embroidery, allowing this women to earn a living wage to support their families.
