Join our efforts in promoting economic development, jobs, and peace around the world by sponsoring the 2012 PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® program:
-
Encourage job growth, economic stability, women’s rights, diversity and public policy advocacy empowering women in Afghanistan and Rwanda with tools for success and prosperity
- Educate women who have suffered oppression and marginalization and whose homelands have been devastated by war, genocide, and poverty
- Support women entrepreneurs globally through business education courses in their home countries (two months of business basics course work)
- Provide the top students from each country a spot in the US-based Leadership Development “Business Bootcamp” training at Northwood University in Cedar Hill, TX
- Offer opportunities for the international exchange of ideas, business practices, and networking through participation in the mentorship program
- Sponsor small business owners around the globe to help stimulate their local economies by developing business and marketing plans and implementing better business practices
- Ensure the sustainability of this program which rests in the desire and ability of each participant to pay forward her education to other women and men in her country through local mentorship, continuing education, business development, and involvement in public policy.

Sponsoring PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® provides a unique opportunity for businesses to impact the lives of women and communities in war-torn nations. Our partners receive national recognition and marketing opportunities from IEEW including:
