After attending the College Alfajiri and the University Libre de Kigali, Octa had a very good job working. Unfortunately, Octa had to leave her job in order to stay home to care for her premature baby. This was an eye-opening situation where Octa realized that she can survive outside of the traditional job and started selling electricity from home. She realized from this experience that she could earn as much money working from home as she did working for someone else.
This started Octa on the path of entrepreneurship and 10 years ago opened OC Traders.
Business Information
OC Traders is in the business of milk production and retail point of sale. As a staple food in Rwanda, milk and milk by-products is an excellent source of nutrition for a family’s health. The business is expected to expand in the next 5 years to include more milk packaging, yogurt, and cheese.
